Conclusion
We have researched and analyzed the notes we have taken about the several different types of light bulbs and their energy efficiency. After we organized all our data, did drawings, and made our observations, we have come to some results.
First of all, our hypothesis we made before we started anything was pretty much correct. We researched and observed everything, however we could not find a way to make a more energy efficient light bulb than the LED light bulb existing today. We wanted to see if we could try to in the beginning, but we knew we can not because of a number of reasons. One reason is because this has troubled many scientists and researchers for years and years, we couldn’t have come up with a solution to it so quickly in just a couple of weeks. However, we did do a lot of research and come up with many different results and information. We did say that we would find out advantages and disadvantages to the four types of light bulbs we researched on. We came up with how each one works and how efficient it was compared to all the other ones.
Secondly, our working progress throughout the lab investigation and experiment was interesting. We discovered that LED light bulbs have more than 25% longer lifespan than incandescent light bulbs. We learned a lot more too on how each light bulb is different compared to the other one which we had written in our research notes.
From the beginning in our hypothesis, we knew we probably wouldn't be able to create a more efficient light bulb than the LED light bulb, so we weren’t that disappointed that we didn’t. This means that the experiment did go the way we had expected it to go, and that we didn’t encounter any problems along the way.
In conclusion, we don’t have a way to improve our experiment, because it had went the way we planned it to go. Additionally, we learned new things along the process of this lab investigation, how each of the light bulbs we researched on is different or similar to each other, so we are happy with all our results.
